Harrison Construction – Office Addition – Northport, Alabama

The project is a 2,709 SF addition to the offices of Harrison Construction in Northport, Alabama.  The concept was to make a narrow connection to the existing building and thereby create an outdoor courtyard in between.  The addition consisted of 2 new executive offices, storage and a large conference room.  The goal of the exterior was to blend with the rustic wood and stacked stone detailing of the original building so that the expansion blended in and did not stand out.  Another feature of the project was a new covered entry featured that accentuated the main entry.  This entry was highlighted by stacked stone columns and exposed timber framing.
