Valley View Baptist Church – Sanctuary Renovations – Tuscaloosa, Alabama

This project was an interior Sanctuary Renovation for Valley View Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  The design goal was to bring some warmth and life to the outdated sanctuary while also creating a modern and dynamic stage for the more contemporary worship service.  By introducing stone accents, raising the choir loft, enlarging the stage and making the baptistery and cross the focal point, the transformation of the space was complete.  The wood of the cross was reclaimed from an old barn on the Church’s property.
