Tuscaloosa Chevrolet
This new $6 million Chevrolet dealership was cut into a hillside which led to a stepped, two level solution that covered a total of 53,588 SF. The building was inspired by the notion of a hilltop southern plantation house with covered balconies and patio areas, a grand staircase, and an illuminated tower on top that serves as a beacon for the interstate traffic that passes the building daily. The large, state of the art, 35-bay service and parts area is on the upper level with an adjacent customer waiting area that leads to a balcony overlooking the showroom and sales floor below. Indoor and covered outdoor vehicle displays are also featured on the lower level as well as the covered new vehicle delivery are at the main entrance.
