New Flyer of America – Welding Facility – Oxford, Alabama

This $8 million building addition for New Flyer included a 47,700SF weld shop and a 28,350 SF, 2-story office area for a project total of 76,050 SF. The building included a large cafeteria, commercial kitchen, locker room, bathrooms with showers and changing areas. The weld shop included areas to stage and assemble bus frames as well as a mezzanine. The sitework for the project included new employee parking areas for over 300 employees and a new landscape entry and guard shack that has become the new entry to the entire campus.
